LEGAL DISCLAIMER
The information contained on this website and in the letters published by De Angelis LLC ("De Angelis") reflects the opinions and projections of Jacopo De Angelis, founder and manager of De Angelis. Those opinions and projections are subject to change without notice.
All information provided on this website and in these letters is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, nor a recommendation to purchase or sell any security. While Mr. De Angelis believes the information presented to be reliable, no representation or warranty, express or implied, is made as to its accuracy or completeness, and no reliance should be placed upon it as such.
Nothing on this website or in these letters constitutes an offer to sell, or the solicitation of an offer to buy, any interest in any fund or account managed by De Angelis LLC or by Jacopo De Angelis. Any such offer or solicitation will be made solely by means of definitive subscription documents executed between De Angelis LLC and the investor concerned, and only in jurisdictions where such an offer is lawful.
Performance:
Performance returns, both gross and net, are calculated by Mr. De Angelis. Net returns are stated after deduction of management fees, performance fees and fund expenses, where applicable. Mr. De Angelis will provide further information regarding the calculation of gross and net returns upon request. All figures are unaudited.
Past performance is not indicative of future results and provides no guarantee of them. Investment carries risk, and an investor may lose some or all of the capital invested.
Benchmark Comparison:
References to the S&P 500, or to any other benchmark, do not imply that De Angelis LLC will achieve returns, volatility or other results comparable to that index. The S&P 500 is an unmanaged, long-only index composed primarily of large-capitalization companies, and it bears no management fees or transaction costs. De Angelis LLC, by contrast, takes both long and short positions across a range of derivative instruments. Its portfolio may therefore differ materially from the S&P 500 in composition, leverage, volatility and liquidity — which is the reason for the manager's repeated references, in his letters, to a lack of correlation.
